So your appointment runs stylishly smooth, we’ve compiled some information below from our most frequently asked questions. Can’t find what you’re looking for here? Drop us an email and we’ll get back to you soon xo
Allergy Alert Testing
If you are a new client of The Room and would like to have a colour service, we require an allergy alert test to be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your treatment. Your allergy test is kept on file for 6 months. If you do not have a service with us within six months from the date your last service was carried out, a new allergy alert test will be required in order for us to proceed with a colour service.
Children at the Salon
We recognise that occasionally it may be convenient or even necessary to bring your kids with you while you get a service, but at The Room Hair Co. we believe that taking kids along with you to the salon during your appointment raises safety concerns. We use hot tools, chemicals, sharp scissors, and other dangerous equipment in the salon, and there is neither a special play area nor a staff member on duty to watch over kids while you get your service.
We strive to create a peaceful atmosphere for all our guests who come in after a long day, and we also care about the safety of your little ones. As a business we do not allow children at the salon, if you have any questions or concerns, please ask!
We appreciate your understanding, thank you!
Clothing Policy
We would always advise you not to wear expensive clothing or your best during a color service.
We do take great care to safe guard your clothes, to ensure no Color gets on your clothes. However accidents can happen.
WE WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU for inappropriate choice of clothing.
EXAMPLES ARE:
DESIGNER CLOTHES THAT ARE EXPENSIVE.
HOODIES
COLLARS
WHITE CLOTHING
HIGH NECKS
Wearing collared shirts, polo necks and hooded sweatshirts to your appointment is a bad idea.
“They alter the natural fall of the hair”. Even accessories like earrings and necklaces can catch on combs.
Remember to remove jewelry and wear simple, close-fitting tops to the appointment.
We have T-Shirts available
If you are worried about your clothing choice we have spare T-Shirts available to change into.
Please remember we do not reimburse for damaged clothing.
It is a hair salon, and accidents happen.
Thank you- The Room Hair Co.
Booking Fee
A 50 euro booking fee is required, which will be deducted from your appointment on the day, to reserve a time.
Please be aware that we have a 48-hour cancellation policy. While all booking payments are non-refundable, they are completely transferrable or redeemable once you are within the cancellation policy’s window. The goal of this strategy is to aid our small businesses.
Please double-check our opening hours since we do not accept cancellations during salon closures. In this situation, phone the salon and speak to a staff member. We acknowledge that unforeseen occurrences can occur, but this is our cancellation procedure.
Re-dos and Adjustments
If you are not happy with your results please call the salon directly. Our team will be happy to make small tweaks and adjustments within 2 weeks of your previous hair appointment. This courtesy is not be confused with changing your mind or trying to work the system for free services. If your request is reasonable, we will do all that we can to fix any error in quality.
